Posted: 14 Aug 2010 As a child I was informed that the best place to find snakes was in ferns and spent hours walking through them unable to see the floor wondering how I was meant to see them.On holiday this week in Pwllheli I was returning from a successful adder hunt and wading through some ferns to return to the path when I found this little beauty basking in the smallest of sun patches in a mass of ferns ,it was my fav encounter of the holiday just because of the many fruitless fern years I have had previously(and it was my one and only slow worm of the week) Dave Williams davewilliamsphotography.co.uk |

Posted: 15 Aug 2010 I thought she looked a little that way as well Tim.There wasnt much sun this day and it was a little bit of drizzle but the adders on the cliff tops seemed happy enough.Weather was generally pretty good for this country. That part of North Wales always seems to be better than over here.
